Summer brings all types of word pictures to our minds. We may think of beaches, vacations, travel, camps, etc. When we think of summer we usually think of all the fun things we can do with our family and friends. But for me, the highlight of my summer is VBS. I am so looking forward to this year’s VBS! This year our theme is Maker Fun Factory.
At Maker Fun Factory VBS, kids discover not only that God made them the way they are, but for a purpose too. Maker Fun Factory is filled with incredible Bible-learning experiences kids see, hear, touch, and even taste! Sciency-Fun Gizmos™, team-building games, cool Bible songs, and tasty treats are just a few of the standout activities that help faith flow into real life. (Since everything is hands-on, kids might get a little messy. So kids need to make sure to bring play clothes and safe shoes.) Plus, we’ll help kids discover how to see evidence of God in everyday life—something we call God Sightings. Get ready to hear that phrase a lot!
Parents, grandparents, and friends are invited to join us at Funshop Finale each day at 8:35 p.m., a daily exploration of our Maker—God!
So mark these dates on your calendar July 16-20, 2017. The fun starts at 6:00 p.m. and will end at 9:00 p.m.
