10 Commandments
A Sunday school teacher was discussing the Ten Commandments with her five- and six-year-olds. After explaining the commandment to honor thy father and thy mother,’ she asked, “Is there a commandment that teaches us how to treat our brothers and sisters?”
Without missing a beat, one boy (the oldest of a family of seven) answered, “Thou shalt not kill.”

Maker Fun Factory VBS 2017
Summer brings all types of word pictures to our minds. We may think of beaches, vacations, travel, camps, etc. When we think of summer we usually think of all the fun things we can do with our family and friends. But for me, the highlight of my summer is VBS. I am so looking forward to this year’s VBS! This year our theme is Maker Fun Factory.

Easter Is Coming
Most of us know that Easter and Christmas are two times during the calendar year of the church that people are most likely to attend church, yet did you know there are far more people who would attend if they had a simple invitation?
Thom Rainer, a Christian blogger and researcher recently polled over 300 non-churched people, and found that ninety-six percent of them are at least somewhat likely to attend church if invited! That’s an astounding statistic as the translation is that 9 out of 10 would at least consider attending if someone would take the time to invite them.
