He Knows Me

Distress Christian Stock Photo

Aren’t there things that we absolutely love about God, but it is also so very scary?  It is great to know that God is powerful and He is in absolute control of everything, but it is also scary to know that He really is in control and at any moment allow this life to be over, the end, finished!

It is also absolutely fascinating to think that God knows me.  It is so comforting to serve a God who knows me but it is also so scary to know that God does know me, with all of my failures and inadequacies.  And even though he knows us he still loves us and wants a relationship with us.

The Images of Easter

Resurrection Sunday Pic

There are two images that come to mind when I think of Easter. You can’t have one without the other. The first image would be that of the Cross. There’s nothing like it.
